1. Evidence before opinion

We identify the legal entity, authorised website and client-facing agreement before assessing a broker. Company marketing, regulator records and third-party reports are labelled separately.

2. Five weighted dimensions

Regulation · 30%Licence status, entity match, permitted activities and jurisdiction strength.
Transparency · 20%Ownership, legal documents, contacts, fees and conflicts disclosed.
Operations · 20%Trading infrastructure, execution disclosures, funding and withdrawal evidence.
Reputation · 15%Documented complaints, responses, enforcement and operating history.
Evidence · 15%Quantity, quality, freshness and independence of available sources.

3. Score bands

Scores are signals, not guarantees: 7.5–10 is strong evidence, 6.5–7.4 is generally positive, 5.5–6.4 requires caution, and below 5.5 indicates material uncertainty or risk signals.

4. Update and appeal

Material changes trigger a review. Brokers, regulators and readers may submit public records or request a factual correction. Editorial changes are recorded in the audit log.
